Agreement and permitted use
By using the FourAxis client portal, you agree to these Portal Terms. Use the portal only for legitimate FourAxis service requests and information connected to your own file or a file you are authorized to manage.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and current information, and promptly correct material errors.
- Keep your Client ID and private access code confidential and notify FourAxis if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Upload only lawful files that are relevant to the requested service and free from malicious content.
- Confirm that you have authority before submitting information or documents about a spouse, dependant, business, employee or another person.
Portal and professional services
The portal is a secure communication and document-management tool. General updates, calculators, checklists and website content are informational and are not personal tax, legal, mortgage, insurance or investment advice.
Uploading documents does not by itself confirm that FourAxis has accepted an engagement, completed a review or filed a return. Filing or submission occurs only after the applicable review, instructions, payment and authorization steps are completed.
Family files and authorizations
A family workspace may organize related records together, but it does not combine separate legal returns or automatically grant one adult access to another adult’s confidential information. Each adult remains responsible for required information, approvals and filing authorizations.
Electronic communications
You consent to receive service-related electronic communications at the contact details you provide. Ordinary email and live chat are not intended for SINs, banking passwords, portal access codes or tax documents; use the secure upload area for sensitive files.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, update, suspend or restrict the portal to protect clients, comply with law or preserve service reliability. We aim to keep information accurate and the portal available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date identifies the version presented for consent. Material changes will be communicated through the portal or another reasonable method.
Responsibility and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, FourAxis is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by a user, unauthorized sharing of credentials, third-party outages or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Ontario and Canada. Questions or concerns should first be directed to fouraxisfinancial@gmail.com.
